As a beauty- & makeup lover I often try to find products that not only fits my needs, but also my budget. I am always on the move and need makeup that will look professional – and not “overdone.” Too much makeup often makes my face feel “caked” and can also be harmful to my skin. when the pores on our faces are covered up, it can lead to skin irritation and breakouts. So, when it comes to choosing an everyday make-up look, I prefer a more natural, glowing look that makes my skin look healthy and happy.

Time is often limited in the morning, so I need makeup that is easy to apply and will not stress me out too much.

I recently received some goodies from REVLON, and I have found that the quality is amazing & the price will not hurt your budget as well! I like to test products for at least a month before I give a review, to make sure I give information that is accurate and to see how my skin reacts to it after a while. I have been receiving so many compliments since I have been using this product, and honestly, my selfies have never looked this great!

Revlon PhotoReady Primer Plus Skincare Primer Collection

A good primer, like the Revlon PhotoReady Prime Plus Perfecting + Soothing Primer (R219,95) creates a flawless canvas for the rest of your makeup. It also extends the life of your makeup and keeps your face hydrated and glowing for longer. It's been just over a month now that I am using the Revlon PhotoReady Prime Plus Perfecting + Soothing Primer and I can honestly say that I am impressed! This primer is ideally formulated for those whose skin is uneven and has fine lines. The complex is infused with Vitamin B5 and Hyaluronic Acid that benefits the skin by hydrating and plumping your dry skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and speeding up wound healing. With the weather changing by the day, my skin does tend to feel a bit dry around my nose-area, and when I apply the primer before I use my foundation, it decreases the amount of foundation I use and blends much quicker, making my skin feel smooth and soft and glowing! So, when my skin is happy, I am happy! A good primer, like this one is simply a must!

Revlon PhotoReady Candid Natural Finish Anti-Pollution Foundation

This #foundation has been on the market for a while now, and is definitely good value for money! What makes it even better is the fact that REVLON recently added 10 more shades to their range! With 22 different shades to choose from, you can be sure to find a shade that matches your skin tone! The Revlon PhotoReady Candid Natural Finish Anti-Pollution Foundation (R149,99) contains antioxidants and anti-pollutant Vitamin E, plus anti blue light ingredients that is great for those sitting in front of a screen the whole day. I love the creamy texture of the foundation, as it feels almost similar than applying a moisturizer. It also blends super easy, leaving my skin looking and feeling great, while feeling breathable & moisturized!

Revlon PhotoReady Candid Anti-Pollution Setting Powder

I have never really been a fan of a setting powder because it always feels like I can peel the makeup off my face after applying it, but my opinion just changed completely! This loose setting powder is designed to set and protect your skin, and the new Universal Banana Shade (R149,99) is great to brighten all skin tones. It is infused with antioxidants and anti-pollution Vitamin E that helps to protect the skin from the damaging effects caused by pollution. The setting powder has a lightweight texture that helps blur imperfections, leaving my skin with a natural-looking, bare finish. Making this the perfected setting powder for me!

Revlon ColorStay Browlights

I have big brows, and I cannot lie… But honestly, you need to try this product! It is going to make your brows look defined, shaped and oh so pretty! I am very picky when choosing brow-products. I like to use product that draws attention to my brows, but still makes it look natural, not like I have been coloring them in with a koki pen! I’ve noticed that a lot of people struggle when it comes to applying brow products, so I am so happy that the new Revlon ColorStay Browlights (R149), that is available in 6 dual-shade colors has an innovative split lead pomade pencil that effortlessly fills and adds shine to my brows. It is extremely easy to use, and I am almost 100% sure you will get the hang of it quickly! I am not even kidding, you cannot get it wrong, like there is no wrong way to use it. You simply hold it at an angle and glide it over the brows in short strokes. How abrow-that! A bonus, this product is smudge-proof, fade-proof and waterproof, and the expert flat design allows color to glide on easily for an natural enhancing effect. It even gets better; at the back of the pencil you will find a soft Kabuki Blender Brush with dense bristles that feels soft on your skin. This makes the blending and buffing process easier, giving your brows a nice polished effect!

Revlon ColorStay Velour and ColorStay Glaze Stick

So now that the foundation is ready, and your brows are looking Photo Ready! It’s time to add some color to your eyes! With 12 different shades and 2 finishes to choose from, you can create any look you feel like! From a more colorful dramatic look to a more natural look, like the one I prefer, you can really get creative with these easy-to-use pencil format eyeshadows and with one-swipe you are ready to go! The Revlon ColorStay Velour Stick (R105) gives you a luxurious smooth matte finish and extreme color payoff. Its effortless application allows the color to blend for a quick trend-forward look and its buildability allows for layering dimension. The velvety texture feels comfortable on your lids, last long and does not fade, crease, or smear. The Revlon ColorStay Glaze Stick (R105) has a creamier formula that is infused with metallic and duo chrome pigments, and creates a silky pearl-like finish, leaving your eyelids sparkly and shiny. For my natural-look, I prefer the more neutral colors, like the Cashmere and Rose shades.

Revlon SkinLights Collection

Let it glow, let it glow. Capture your best light with the new SkinLights from REVLON. This collection of translucent, buildable illuminators will enhance your skin with a radiant veil of light. Revlon is good at giving you options, making it easier to find a product that best suits your look! With three different formulas to choose from – two silky powders and one liquid illuminator you can easily achieve your chosen makeup look. All three products will give your skin that healthy glow and will help create depth and dimension to your facial features. The SkinLights are easy to blend and washes your skin in luminosity. The SkinLights Prismatic Highlighter (R139,95) is available in 3 different shades, and has a shimmer-finish gel to powder formula. You can decide how “shiny” or glowing you want your face by simply applying less or adding more of the highlighter. To create that Summer, Sunkissed look I use the SkinLights Highlighting Bronzer (R139,95). This silky powder is available in 3 different shades and does not look like a spray on tan gone wrong.

One of my favorites is the creamy SkinLights Highlighting Stick (R159,95). You can sculp and highlight your face with one single swipe! A little really goes along way, and with also 3 different shades to choose from you can easily create a natural, glowing look! If you want to create a more natural finish, just apply the bronzer around the outside edge of your face and whip it lightly under the cheekbones. This technique will warm your face naturally!

Same same, but different... Same makeup products used, different days..

Naturally when wearing a mask, I scale down on using makeup, but after more than a month I have more than enough makeup to last me another 2 months!
